2. Educational Purpose and Professional Responsibility
All PsychBoss programs and materials are provided for educational and professional development purposes.
Participation does not constitute psychotherapy, psychiatric treatment, medical care, clinical supervision, legal advice, or individualized clinical consultation unless a separate written agreement expressly establishes such a relationship.
Participation does not establish a patient-provider relationship.
Participants are responsible for practicing within their professional licenses, applicable scope-of-practice requirements, organizational policies, professional competencies, and relevant ethical standards.
The presentation of an intervention, modality, or clinical concept does not automatically authorize a participant to use that intervention in clinical practice.
Participants must independently determine whether additional education, certification, supervision, training, informed consent, professional liability coverage, or other qualifications are required.
PsychBoss does not guarantee specific clinical outcomes, professional credentials, business results, or financial success.
3. Registration and Account Access
Participants may be required to create an individual account through Thinkific or another authorized platform to access purchased educational products.
Participants agree to provide accurate registration information and maintain the confidentiality of their login credentials.
Accounts are intended for individual use unless otherwise expressly authorized by PsychBoss.
Sharing account credentials or allowing unauthorized individuals to access purchased educational materials is prohibited.
PsychBoss reserves the right to restrict, suspend, or terminate access when a participant materially violates these Terms.
Where appropriate, participants will be provided an opportunity to resolve the issue before access is terminated.
4. Purchases, Pricing, and Payment
Prices for courses, webinars, memberships, and other educational services are displayed at the time of purchase.
Payment must be completed before access is granted unless otherwise specified.
Payments may be processed through Thinkific or authorized third-party payment providers.
Applicable taxes and additional charges, if any, will be disclosed during checkout.
Promotional pricing, discount codes, and special offers may be subject to eligibility requirements or expiration dates.
Pricing changes will not retroactively affect completed purchases.
Participants are responsible for reviewing product descriptions, course schedules, access terms, continuing education information, and refund policies before purchasing.
5. Refunds, Cancellations, and Technical Support
PsychBoss is committed to providing high-quality professional education and clear expectations regarding purchases, cancellations, and educational access.
5.1 Online Courses
All purchases of The Creative Clinician and other self-paced or drip-release courses are final and nonrefundable, except as required by applicable law or expressly provided in these Terms.
Enrollment provides access to proprietary educational materials, including videos, audio recordings, workbooks, worksheets, and other educational resources.
Refunds are not offered for changes in personal circumstances, scheduling conflicts, failure to complete a course, or decisions not to participate.
For drip-release courses, participants acknowledge that educational content becomes available according to the published release schedule rather than immediately upon purchase.
PsychBoss will make reasonable efforts to deliver all purchased educational content as described.
If PsychBoss is unable to provide a material portion of a purchased course, an appropriate remedy, including a refund when warranted or legally required, will be provided.
5.2 Live Webinars and Workshops
All purchases of live webinars and workshops are final and nonrefundable, except as required by applicable law or expressly provided in these Terms.
PsychBoss records its live educational webinars and provides registered participants with access to the recordings following the event.
Participants who are unable to attend live due to scheduling conflicts, personal circumstances, or technical difficulties on their end will receive access to the recording instead of a refund.
Recordings will ordinarily be made available within seven (7) calendar days following the live event and will remain accessible for ninety (90) days following the event.
Where continuing education credit is offered, participants must satisfy the applicable completion requirements. Viewing a recording does not automatically guarantee CE credit.
5.3 Membership Subscriptions
PsychBoss memberships are offered on a recurring monthly subscription basis through Thinkific.
Members may cancel their subscriptions at any time.
Membership fees are automatically charged each month on the member's scheduled billing date, as determined by the applicable payment platform.
Monthly billing periods are based on the scheduled renewal date and are not necessarily fixed 30-day periods.
When a member cancels their subscription:
Their membership remains active through the end of the current paid billing period.
They retain access to membership benefits until the next scheduled renewal date.
No additional recurring membership charges will be made after cancellation takes effect.
Payments already processed are nonrefundable, except where required by applicable law.
At the end of the paid billing period, access to membership-exclusive courses, webinars, community features, and other membership benefits will end unless those products were purchased separately or expressly include continued access.
Members are responsible for canceling before their next scheduled billing date to avoid another recurring charge.
PsychBoss does not charge membership cancellation fees.
5.4 Events Canceled by PsychBoss
If PsychBoss cancels a paid webinar, workshop, or educational event and does not deliver the purchased event, registered participants will receive a full refund.
If an event is rescheduled, participants may choose to attend the rescheduled event or request a full refund.
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
5.5 Technical Difficulties
PsychBoss makes reasonable efforts to ensure that educational content and virtual events are accessible and function properly.
Participants experiencing technical difficulties should contact PsychBoss for assistance.
Online Courses
PsychBoss will work to resolve technical access issues so participants can access their purchased educational materials.
If a material technical problem cannot be reasonably resolved and prevents access to purchased content, PsychBoss will provide an appropriate remedy, including a refund when legally required or warranted by the circumstances.
Live Webinars and Workshops
If a participant experiences internet connectivity problems, device issues, or other technical difficulties on their end, PsychBoss will provide access to the webinar recording once available.
Participant-side technical difficulties do not ordinarily qualify for a refund.
Platform or Host Technical Failures
If technical difficulties originating with PsychBoss or its service providers interrupt an event, PsychBoss will make reasonable efforts to restore access, reschedule the affected content, or provide a complete recording.
If the purchased event cannot be delivered through these alternatives, participants will receive a full refund.
5.6 Refund Processing and Applicable Rights
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider and financial institution.
Nothing in this policy limits refund, cancellation, or consumer protection rights that cannot legally be waived.
Participants acknowledge that they have had an opportunity to review the applicable refund and cancellation terms before purchase.
6. Course Access and Drip-Release Content
6.1 Lifetime Course Access
Courses designated as offering Lifetime Access, including The Creative Clinician, provide ongoing access to purchased educational content for as long as the course remains active and available through PsychBoss or its designated learning platform.
Lifetime Access means that the purchase does not have a predetermined enrollment expiration date. It does not guarantee that a course or learning platform will remain available indefinitely.
PsychBoss reserves the right to update, modify, replace, or discontinue educational content when reasonably necessary.
If PsychBoss plans to permanently discontinue a purchased course, participants will ordinarily receive at least thirty (30) calendar days' advance notice.
During this notice period, participants will have an opportunity to complete available course content and retain eligible downloadable materials for their personal educational use.
If thirty days' notice is not reasonably possible due to circumstances beyond PsychBoss's control, PsychBoss will provide notice as soon as reasonably practicable.
When a course is discontinued, PsychBoss will provide any additional remedy required by applicable law or warranted by the circumstances.
6.2 Drip-Release Courses
Certain PsychBoss courses release educational content progressively according to a published schedule.
Participants acknowledge that purchasing a drip-release course does not provide immediate access to all course materials.
For The Creative Clinician, the Welcome section and Module 1 are available immediately upon enrollment.
Subsequent modules are scheduled to become available at seven-day intervals following enrollment.
Participants retain access to previously released materials throughout the period the course remains available.
PsychBoss will make reasonable efforts to maintain the announced release schedule and will communicate material changes affecting enrolled learners.
6.3 Platform Availability
PsychBoss makes reasonable efforts to maintain access to educational materials but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service due to maintenance, technical difficulties, platform disruptions, or circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
PsychBoss will work to resolve access issues and provide appropriate remedies consistent with these Terms and applicable law.
7. Live Webinar Recording Access
7.1 Recording Availability
PsychBoss records its live educational webinars and provides registered participants with access to the recordings for 90 days following the live event.
Recordings will ordinarily be made available within seven (7) calendar days following the event, allowing time for processing and editing.
Participants will receive instructions for accessing the recording when it becomes available.
7.2 Missed Live Events
Participants who cannot attend a live webinar may access the recording during the designated viewing period.
Missing a live event does not automatically qualify a participant for a refund.
7.3 Recording Expiration
Recording access may expire 90 days after the live event.
Participants are responsible for accessing available recordings and completing applicable continuing education requirements within the designated periods.
7.4 Recording Use and Distribution
Recordings are provided for individual educational use.
Participants may not record, download without authorization, reproduce, redistribute, publicly post, sell, or share webinar recordings without written permission from PsychBoss or the appropriate rights holder.
7.5 Continuing Education Requirements
Access to a recording does not automatically guarantee eligibility for continuing education credit.
Participants must satisfy the applicable completion, assessment, attendance, and verification requirements identified for the educational offering.
8. Continuing Education (CE) Information
8.1 Continuing Education Provider
PsychBoss offers selected educational programs as a Florida Board of Nursing–approved continuing education provider.
Florida Board of Nursing CE Provider Number: 50-33593
Not all PsychBoss offerings necessarily qualify for continuing education credit.
CE eligibility will be identified in the applicable course or event description.
8.2 Continuing Education Contact Hours
The number of continuing education contact hours awarded varies by educational offering.
Eligible contact hours will be identified in the individual course or event description and will reflect the educational activity's applicable CE requirements.
Participants should review the specified contact hours and credit designation before enrolling.
8.3 Course Completion Requirements
To receive continuing education credit, participants must successfully complete all applicable requirements established for the specific educational offering.
Requirements may include:
Completing required educational content or attending designated live instruction.
Completing a post-test or knowledge assessment and achieving the required passing score.
Completing a course evaluation when required.
Providing accurate professional licensing information when necessary for CE reporting.
For eligible self-paced courses, participants must successfully complete any required knowledge assessment before CE credit is awarded.
Purchasing a course, enrolling in a webinar, or accessing a recording does not automatically qualify a participant for CE credit.
8.4 Certificates of Completion
Participants who successfully meet the applicable continuing education requirements will receive a certificate of completion documenting the educational activity and eligible contact hours earned.
Certificates will include the information required by the applicable approving or regulatory organization.
Participants are responsible for retaining copies of their certificates and verifying that their completed educational activities satisfy their individual licensing or certification requirements.
8.5 CE Broker Reporting
For Florida-licensed nursing professionals, eligible continuing education completions will be reported to CE Broker in accordance with applicable Florida Board of Nursing requirements.
Participants are responsible for providing accurate identifying and professional license information necessary for reporting.
Participants should review their CE Broker records to confirm that earned credits have been recorded correctly and contact PsychBoss if a reporting discrepancy is identified.
8.6 Acceptance by Other Licensing and Certification Organizations
PsychBoss's Florida Board of Nursing continuing education provider approval does not automatically guarantee acceptance of CE credit by other state licensing boards, national certification organizations, or professional regulatory bodies.
Participants are responsible for determining whether a particular educational offering satisfies the requirements of their licensing jurisdiction, specialty certification, or professional organization.
Unless expressly indicated, PsychBoss courses should not be interpreted as providing ANCC-accredited continuing education or satisfying specific specialty certification requirements.
8.7 Changes to Continuing Education Offerings
PsychBoss may update educational content, assessments, and completion requirements to maintain professional relevance and compliance with applicable continuing education standards.
Material changes affecting previously purchased educational offerings will be communicated to enrolled participants when appropriate.
Continuing education credit will be awarded according to the requirements and credit designation applicable to the completed educational activity.
9. Experiential Learning and Personal Reflection
Some PsychBoss programs incorporate guided reflection, visualization, mindfulness, breathwork, expressive exercises, or other experiential learning activities.
These activities support educational exploration, professional development, and self-awareness.
They are not substitutes for individualized medical or mental health care.
Participants are encouraged to exercise professional and personal judgment regarding their participation.
Participation in individual experiential exercises is voluntary unless a particular activity is identified as necessary for completion of an educational requirement.
Participants may modify or discontinue an activity when appropriate for their safety and well-being.
If an alternative activity is necessary to meet CE requirements, participants should contact PsychBoss.
Participants are responsible for considering their own physical and psychological readiness for experiential activities and consulting an appropriate healthcare professional when necessary.
PsychBoss does not guarantee any particular emotional, psychological, clinical, or professional outcome from experiential activities.
10. Intellectual Property and Educational Materials
PsychBoss educational materials, including videos, audio recordings, workbooks, worksheets, written content, presentations, graphics, and downloadable resources, are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Unless otherwise indicated, materials created by PsychBoss remain the property of PsychBoss or their respective rights holders.
Purchase grants participants a limited, personal, nonexclusive, nontransferable license to access and use educational materials for individual learning and professional development.
Participants may not reproduce, distribute, resell, publicly post, or commercially repurpose PsychBoss educational materials without prior written permission.
Participants may apply concepts and skills learned through PsychBoss within their appropriate professional scope.
However, participation does not grant permission to reproduce proprietary course materials, market PsychBoss materials as their own, or represent themselves as certified instructors of a PsychBoss methodology without express authorization.
Guest instructor materials remain subject to the ownership and permissions identified by their creators.
11. Confidentiality and Professional Conduct
Participants are expected to communicate respectfully and maintain appropriate professional boundaries during live events, discussions, mentorship activities, and community interactions.
Participants must not disclose identifiable patient information or protected health information in course discussions, written assignments, virtual meetings, or shared educational resources.
Clinical examples should be appropriately de-identified and shared only when permitted by applicable law and professional standards.
Participants should respect the privacy of other attendees and refrain from sharing personal information or experiences disclosed during educational activities without permission.
PsychBoss establishes expectations for respectful participation but cannot guarantee confidentiality on the part of other participants.
Harassment, discriminatory conduct, unauthorized solicitation, or behavior that materially disrupts the learning environment may result in removal from an event or educational program, subject to applicable law and the circumstances involved.
12. Memberships and Recurring Payments
PsychBoss may offer subscription-based memberships providing access to selected educational resources, webinars, courses, community features, or professional development calls.
Membership pricing, billing frequency, included benefits, renewal terms, cancellation procedures, and any applicable trial conditions will be disclosed before purchase.
Unless otherwise specified at checkout, recurring memberships continue until canceled in accordance with their stated terms.
Members may manage their subscriptions through the applicable platform's account and billing settings or contact PsychBoss for assistance.
Membership cancellation, access expiration, and refund terms are governed by Section 5.3 of these Terms.
Cancellation does not affect rights or obligations that accrued before its effective date.
13. Technology and Third-Party Platforms
PsychBoss uses third-party technology providers, including Thinkific, Google Meet, Zoom, and other authorized services, to deliver educational content and facilitate registration, payment, and participation.
Use of third-party platforms may be subject to their own terms of service and privacy policies.
Participants are responsible for having compatible technology and a reasonably reliable internet connection when participating in online educational activities.
PsychBoss makes reasonable efforts to provide reliable educational services but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access.
Participants experiencing technical difficulties should contact [email protected] for assistance.
14. Privacy and Marketing Communications
Personal information collected through registration, purchases, course participation, and communications is handled in accordance with the PsychBoss Privacy Policy.
Transactional communications, including purchase confirmations, course access information, scheduling updates, webinar links, and important service notices, may be sent as necessary to provide purchased services.
Marketing communications are separate from essential service communications.
PsychBoss may send marketing messages in accordance with applicable law and the participant's consent or communication preferences.
Participants may unsubscribe from marketing communications without losing access to previously purchased educational products.
Registration for a guest-facilitated event does not automatically constitute consent to receive marketing communications from the guest facilitator's separate business.
Any sharing of participant information with guest facilitators will be governed by the PsychBoss Privacy Policy and applicable privacy requirements.
15. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
PsychBoss makes reasonable efforts to provide accurate, relevant, and professionally appropriate educational content.
However, educational materials may not reflect every jurisdiction's legal requirements, professional regulations, or clinical standards.
Participants remain responsible for independently evaluating and appropriately applying information learned through PsychBoss.
PsychBoss does not guarantee specific clinical, business, financial, licensing, or professional outcomes.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, PsychBoss is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from participants' independent professional decisions or application of educational content.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability or consumer protections that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
16. Changes to Programs or Terms
PsychBoss may update educational materials, course schedules, platform features, or these Terms of Use when reasonably necessary.
Material changes affecting an existing purchase will be communicated to enrolled participants when appropriate.
Updated Terms will identify their effective date.
Changes will not retroactively eliminate rights that participants have under applicable law or existing purchase agreements.
17. Governing Law
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States, subject to applicable mandatory consumer protections and other governing laws.
